Sonakshi, Siddharth And Akshaye's Turmoil Decoded In Reprised Version Of 'Raat Baaki'

Siddharth Malhotra, Akshaye Khanna and Sonakshi Sinha starrer 'Ittefaq' has grabbed many eyeballs due to its mysterious and intriguing concept. Despite no heavy promotions, the thriller has become the talk of the town due to its unique look and feel.

Venturing into the untested waters, the producer Karan Johar has decided to keep no songs in the film, which is a big 'Shock' to his fans given the history of Hindi films and the relevance of peppy numbers in them.

Though the team did shoot for a promotional song called 'Ittefaq Se' which recreates the magic of the 80s' iconic track 'Raat Baaki'. The song was shot in the suburban studios of Mumbai and will be shown with the rolling credits of the film.

Unlike the original version, the song gives an insight of what the viewers can expect from the film with a scared Sonakshi trying to prove her innocence and a dangerous Siddharth who confused and taking wrong steps to get his point across.

Throughout the song, Akshaye which so far is the most liked character among the masses from the posters and trailer released is busy in solving a mystery related to the two murders which took place in one night.

Jubin Nautyal and Nikita Gandhi have lent their voices for the reprised version while Tanishk Bagchi created the music. The original song was composed by Bappi Lahiri while Asha Bhosle sang the soothing number.

Reportedly, Abhay Chopra directorial was shot for 50 days without break to meet the scheduled release date. 'Ittefaq' is slated to release on November 3. It is the adaptation of 1969 thriller directed by Yash Chopra. The film had Rajesh Khanna, Bindu, Nanda and Madan Puri in the lead roles.
