Padmavati Trailer OUT! Rajputi Talwar And Bangles Show Their Strength Before The Big War

Trailer for the most anticipated movie of the year, 'Padmavati' is finally here. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus has already created the much-needed buzz among the masses due to the intense concept and related controversies.

Though all is worth it at the end of the day if the result is as magnificent as the 'Padmavati' trailer. Set in the backdrop of 1303 AD when the mighty king of Chittore, Maharawal Ratan Singh and the savage emperor Alauddin Khilji first locked horns, the official trailer of the film was released at 13:03 pm.

The larger than life trailer begins with the homecoming of Raja Ratan Singh post victoriously fighting a war, to his beautiful queen, Padmavati who is waiting for him clad in a traditional outfit and heavy Rajputi jewellery. A beautiful scene captures the duo while the queen is sticking the proud king's pagdi.

Alauddin Khilji's entry portrays his strength and arrogance all at once. His huge army is at his beck and call ready to attack the fortress of Chittore whereas Padmavati and Ratan Singh are basking in the last few moments of their life together before the big war.

The trailer gracefully summarises the entire story of the film while capturing some interesting scenes which enraptures the audience. Ranveer Singh's bloody Khilji is dangerous and sadistic whereas Shahid Kapoor's Raja Ratan Singh nails the 3-minute clip with his regal attitude.

Deepika Padukone has strengthened the character of Rani Padmavati with her warm yet powerful portrayal of the warrior queen. All in all, the enthralling trailer was able to grasp the viewers' attention like anything giving away the insights of the awaited film.
