Coming out to support an environmentalist campaign 'Rally for River', which is an initiative towards conservation of rivers, several Bollywood celebrities used social media to post videos of themselves urging their followers to support the initiative.

One of the first one, Salman Khan posted his video on Instagram, saying that “Rivers are the connecting life lines, we need to save them.”

Sadhguru will be organising rally by road and this will cover 16 states. In every state, the chief ministers will be participating to support the cause. It is important to get substantial support and demand from the people only then a positive river policy can be brought into action effectively.

‘Rally For Rivers’, a campaign was launched recently, by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev. This campaign is launched to create awareness on protecting rivers and inter-linking them.  Sadhguru request people across the nation to join the campaign by giving a missed call to 800098009 and to show their support for the cause.

Talking about water, as it is the most fundamental requirements for the life, putting up this campaign is really worth. Our rivers are the most important source of the water, but now they are facing a grave crisis. Many small rivers have already vanished, so it’s important to act now to reserve this.

Make a difference by being an active participant of the #RallyforRivers movement. Give a missed call aaj..abhi!
