Director, S. Shankar took to his official Twitter account to share the making video of his upcoming film ‘2.0’. The video gives us a look at what it takes to make a Shankar film. This video went viral on social media.
This video proves that Shankar’s film is not just a film, but an experience. The grandeur, the technology, the feel and the look of his movies have always been above par. This Shankar’s directorial 2.0 stars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson and is a sequel to the 2010 hit film Enthiran starring Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai.
In the making video, we also get a glimpse of Rajinikanth as Chitti, and Akshay Kumar as the crow-like villan, complete with his interesting hybrid looks.
2.0 is an upcoming Indian science fiction film written and directed by S. Shankar, co-written by B. Jeyamohan, and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah, founder of Lyca Productions.
From the rows of robots that we see on the silver screen to an aerial shot of a road, everything is planned to perfection before execution. ‘2.0’ makers give sneak peek into the making of the film. The film is reportedly being made on a whopping budget of around Rs 450 crore.
The film has music by Academy Award winner AR Rahman. Supposed to be released during Diwali, the film will now hit the screens on January 26, 2018, on the occasion of Republic Day.
