The photo-sharing platform, Instagram rolled out a surprise for its users in form of some interesting new feature just a week ahead of Halloween. The latest feature allows the users to add a spooky twist to their post before sharing them on the network.

An engaging feature called 'Superzoom' was added which allows the Instagramers to automatically zoom into their screens while recording a video from the front camera and completes the action by adding dramatic music to the background.

Located in between the Boomerang and Rewind options, the feature can be used to create Instagram stories or sending unique videos to friends via direct message. The feature is not restricted to video but can to used for zooming "your selfie, your friend’s goofy face or even your half-eaten sandwich".

Instagram also added some holiday-themed face filters and stickers to uplift the spirit of Halloween among the masses. These scary filters can turn you into a zombie or transform from a vampire into a flying bat.

The feature will be rolled out from November 1 and can be used after updating the Instagram version to 20.0 for iOS through the Apple App Store and for Android through Google Play.
