Now you can go for a hike in the Yosemite National Park and discover its exquisite trails and waterfalls just by walking around your neighbourhood with Fitbit.
Still confused? The answer is simple!
Fitbit has introduced a new feature called 'Adventures' to pair with its fitness-tracking wristbands, that will virtually transport you to the Yosemite National Park in California or help you take the route of the New York City Marathon with each step.
"All you need to complete a Fitbit Adventure are the steps you normally get through your daily activity. With each step, you virtually advance on a pre-set route and discover landmarks and treasures along the way," Fitbit wrote in a blogpost.
With Fitbit's Adventure, you can discover Yosemite's breath-taking routes including Pohono Trail, Valley Loop, and Vernal Falls just by taking a step more.
According to the company, each morning the users will be challenged to reach a new destination along the trail. "The distance to the destination is personalized to your historic Fitbit data, making the experience challenging, yet achievable."
The company also announced that its soon going to launch daily destinations, landmarks, and treasures on the streets of New York City.
"You’ll be able to use your steps to virtually experience the full TCS New York City Marathon route, a 10-mile, partial-course challenge, and a 5K set in Midtown Manhattan in September 2016," the company said.
Fitbit Adventures are available now on the Fitbit app for Android, iOS, and Windows. So, get set and go!
