Jonny Bairstow Injured By Arjun Tendulkar's Delivery

Arjun Tendulkar was bowling to Jonny Bairstow in the nets when the incident took place. England has been gearing up for the test series against South Africa and Arjun Tendulkar was one of the bowlers that were bowling to Jonny Bairstow when he yorked the batsmen which left him injured.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, the 27-year-old was pinned on the foot by a yorker from Arjun and hobbled out of the nets. Bairstow's left foot was placed briefly in a compression unit to ease the pain during the session at Lord's on Wednesday morning.

Arjun was also seen practising with the South African team during the Champions Trophy.

Arjun has also played the under 14 and under 16 tournaments for the Mumbai team. He is a left-arm fast bowler and is over 6 feet tall.

Tendulkar goes to London every year during the summer holidays of his children and spends quality time with his family as he has a house in St John's Wood which is near the historic Lords Cricket Ground.
