Apart from flying sixes and the nail-biting thrill of watching the legends playing against each other, the match from Bengaluru's M.Chinnaswamy Stadium would also be remembered for the awe-inspiring fielding by players of both teams, especially the winning one.

While Kohli seemed a bit out of sync for dropping two sitters, his teammate de Villiers was on a roll. One of his gravity-defying catches, in fact, left the team's skipper awestruck, so much so that he saluted the miraculous player through Twitter for beautifully dismissing SRH opener Alex Hales.

Comparing AB de Villiers with Marvel's much-loved Spiderman, Virat shared a still from the match featuring the Ace batsman in mid-air holding Hales' wicket in hand. Kohli captioned the image, "saw SpiderMan live today."

Praising de Villiers for his remarkable effort by leaping up high before sticking out his right hand at just the right time to grab the ball, Kohli said, "AB's catch was spiderman stuff, you don't do that as normal human beings. His shots still leave me in awe, the fielding unbelievable."

The maverick batsman, however, dismissed the praises stating, "With the catch, I made it look tougher than it was. It curved away late, luckily it stuck. I got into a bad position." Having scored 39-ball 69, the player was adjudged Man of the Match.

Playing against the table-toppers SunRisers Hyderabad on Thursday, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) gave away their all for keeping the playoff dreams alive. Along with skipper Virat Kohli, proteas AB de Villiers managed to put a respectable 218 on board and ended up winning the crucial match.
