India vs West Indies T20I Series: India Wins By 71 Runs, Rohit Sharma Scored Ton

In a yet another T20 international encounter between India and West Indies, India won the match by 71 runs on Tuesday at the Bharat Ratan Atal Bihari Vajpayee International Cricket Stadium.

In the three T20I match series, Indian team is now ahead with 2-0 unbeatable lead.

After winning the toss, West Indies decided to bowl first that turned out as not a good decision. Batting first, Indian team posted a total of 195/2 runs on the board in 20 overs.

Captain Rohit Sharma played an extremely well and scored 111 runs in just 61 balls. Sharma hit 7 long sixes and 8 boundaries and remained not out.

With 111 runs in the match, Sharma became the first player to score four T20I centuries.

Shikhar Dhawan, partner of Sharma for an opening pair scored 43 runs in 41 balls.

KL Rahul who also remained not out with Sharma scored 26 runs in 14 balls at a strike rate of 185.71, However, Rishabh Pant only managed to score 5 runs in 6 balls.

Chasing the target of above 190 runs, no West Indies player crossed the mark of 30 runs against the Indian bowling line up.

Bowling up the mark, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Khaleel Ahmed, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav took 2 wickets each and thrashed the West Indies batting at a score of only 124/10 in 20 overs.

The highest 23 runs were scored by Darren Bravo from the West Indies side with Captain Carlos Brathwaite scored 15 runs not out in 19 balls.
