As per a report published in the media, the Supreme Court has asked the BCCI to announce the name of the Indian team head coach on July 11.

The CAC comprising Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman on Monday (July 10) interviewed five candidates, who applied for the job. They will also discuss the matter with the Indian Captain Virat Kohli before appointing the new coach.

"There is still time for the series against Sri Lanka. We have to speak to a few people, especially captain Virat Kohli," said Ganguly at a press conference after the interviews were done.

Reports claim that the COA doesn't want any further delay in this matter and has directed the BCCI accordingly.
