The interview to select the next India coach will be held on July 10 in Mumbai.

The committee responsible for the selection of the coach includes Indian batting legends Sachin Tendulkar, V.V.S Laxman and former captain of Indian national team.

Earlier the BCCI extended the deadline to apply for the post of head coach till July 9.

The hunt for the position started as former coach Anil Kumble and India captain Virat Kohli’s differences came to the fore ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy in England and Wales. Kumble stepped down from his position as coach after India lost in the final to arch-rivals Pakistan despite having an enviable record as coach of the team.
