The naive Janhvi Kapoor, whom her mother never wanted to step into the vicious world of showbiz is all ready to win the Indian cinephile over with her debut film 'Dhadak'. Though before making her movie debut, the young starlet posed for her first magazine cover for Vogue.

Apart from having her first ever magazine photo shoot, Janhvi let the readers peek into her eventful life with her a frenzied media all over the young star wherever she goes and the unforeseen demise of her 'Mom' Sridevi which left her broken yet determined to make the veteran actress proud.

Communicating with her mentor Karan Johar, Janhvi revealed that Sridevi never wanted her to enter entertainment industry due to her naive personality. Well-aware of the film industry and its ways, the noted actress believed that being thick-skinned is a must have a requirement to survive there.

Unaware of how to behave when encountered by the paparazzi, the young star is flattered with the nation's newfound obsession for her. The embarrassed star kid also admitted to not being a bright student in school. Her constant travelling with parents, on sets and abroad, affected her education.

Nonetheless, she had dreams of studying art history in Florence, fashion in London and acting in Los Angeles before settling for the last one. The young and talented actress is content with the way her life is shaping up, minus the loss of her mother, and is looking forward to winning hearts with her debut.
