The Delhi Commission for Women has claimed that Kumar Vishwas has failed to make an appearance before it despite the body issuing two summons to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader.
DCW chief Barkha Singh has also written to the Union Home Ministry and Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung over failure of appearance by Kumar Vishwas.
According to the DCW chief, she has also sent a copy of the letter to Delhi Chief Minister and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal.
This comes two days after Juhi Khan quit as a member of the DCW on Tuesday on the controversy over complaint against Kumar Vishwas. She had claimed that the AAP leader was innocent and was being framed.
Arvind Kejriwal had also reacted on the issue saying, "This is all politics."
Juhi Khan had stormed out of a joint press interaction with DCW chief Barkha Singh, calling "politically motivated" the decision to issue summons to Vishwas and his wife and said she was resigning from the panel in protest.
