Geeta, the deaf-mute Indian woman living in Pakistan
, returns India on Monday after both the governments gave final clearances for her journey back, over a decade after she strayed across the border on Samjhuta Express.

She was received at the airport by her father and brother along with officials from Ministry of External Affairs and senior diplomats of Pakistan embassy. Union Minister Sushma Swaraj will meet Geeta in afternoon at Ministry of External Affairs.
Soon after reaching Delhi, many question are being raised in media about her past life. Reports of broken marriage and even having a son too figured in media.

According to the Ministry of External Affairs Officials, four families from different parts of the country have came forward claiming her parentage. However Geeta after receiving the pictures of all families in Pakistan identified family from Bihar as her parents.

However that didn't satisfy the government officials in India and they are in process to do DNA matching of Geeta with Bihar family. According to the reports, the process has already started at FSL Hyderabad.
Whether she is married or not is the biggest twist in Geeta's story. According to some media reports, before disappearance, Geeta was married to a man in Bihar, who used to beat her and had a son. However conflicting reports say that Geeta was too young to have a child.
What is her actual age is the another question being raised in media. According to reports, Pakistan police claims that Geeta could have been just 7 years old, when she was found sitting alone on the Samjhauta Express by Pakistani Rangers. However many other reports mention her age as 11-13 when she was spotted in Pakistan.

Reports about the time Geeta lived in Pakistan are also conflicting. Some media reports say that she remained in Pakistan for 7 years, and others range from 9-15 years.
