BJP Defends Corruption Allegations On Amit Shah's Son, Warns Outlet Of legal Actions

Defending Jay Shah, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah's son over corruption allegations in a media report, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal on Sunday said that a Rs 100 crore defamation suit will be filed against media outlet 'The Wire'.

News Agency ANI reported the Railway Minister saying, "Mr Jay Shah will file criminal defamation suit of Rs. 100 cr against the author(of the article), editor & owner of news website The Wire."

Representing the BJP's stand on The Wire's article, Goyal said, "The article is trying to damage the reputation of our leader Amit Shah."

"We reject any allegation sought to be made against Mr Jay Shah or any of our leaders," said the BJP leader.
