The entire nation was shell-shocked when the rape case of an eight-month-old rape came to public eyes. The little girl allegedly harassed by her 28-year-old cousin underwent a 3-hour long operation on Monday before the doctors announced her stable.

While the citizens are expressing their rage on various platforms, AAP Leader and Delhi Commission For Women's chairperson Swati Maliwal has launched a full-fledged protest against the merciless rapists who snatch away children's innocence for their lust.

To condemn the rape of 8-year-old in the national capital, Maliwal has demanded the central government to inculcate certain changes in the punishments for rapists within 30 days or she will "move system" by launching the protest on a mass level.

The minister pledged to work day and night for next 30 days without going home to move the system with her peaceful protest. Posting her demands on Twitter, Maliwal claimed that "8-month-old baby's rape is also rape of DCW."

"Despite our repeated demands, the system hasn't moved. From today I have launched protest-Satyagraha. Won't go back home for next 30 days. Will work day and night to move system. Appeal to Narendra Modi Ji to ensure r demands in next 30 day," her tweet read.

Pained by the little girl's unexplainable situation, Swati Maliwal has demanded the system to hang accused to death within six months. The special POCSO court had awarded an interim compensation of ₹75,000 to the 8-month-old victim's family.
