In wake of the terror attack at the Army headquarters at Jammu's Sunjwan, BJP MLAs chanted the anti-Pakistan slogans in Jammu and Kashmir Assembly. Amidst the high-end drama, NC leader and former Speaker of the house, Mohammad Akbar Lone started raising 'Pakistan Zindabad' slogans.

While speaker Kavinder Gupta was among the few who believed that the presence of Rohingya Muslims in Jammu has led to this attack, Lone chanted pro-Pakistan slogans and justified his action along the lines, "Just because militants are Muslims you can't raise anti-Pakistan slogans."

National Conference has condemned its minister for raising such slogans, party's leader and former CM Omar Abdullah described the entire fiasco as a result of "misplaced slogan". On behalf of the entire party, Junaid Azim Mattu conveyed that, "The party disowns and condemns his remarks."

Around 5 am on Saturday, the group of terrorists attacked the Army headquarters at Sunjwan in Jammu. The attack took the life of 2 Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) whereas six others injured. Amidst the heavy exchange of gunfire, troops have cornered the militants.

While many believe that Jaish-e-Mohammed militants were behind the terror strike, authorities have not specified any such detail yet. However, Intelligence inputs had earlier warned of such attack on Army or military by Jaish-e-Mohammed in view of Afzal Guru's death anniversary.
