Unhappy with Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's decision, JD(U) leader Sharad Yadav is rumoured to be mulling over the idea of forming a new political party in Bihar and aligning with the Congress.

Vijay Verma, a close aide of Sharad Yadav, on Wednesday said that the leader was meeting with various leaders from JD(U) and other 'like-minded' parties. He added that Sharad Yadav could announce the new party any day now.

Acknowledging Sharad Yadav's fall out, JD(U) senior leader and spokesperson, Sanjay Singh had earlier said, "Sharad Ji is our senior leader but has taken a different path. He is free to take any decision.

When asked about the Bihar leader, Nitish took a dig at Sharad Yadav saying "Who knows? I might be less burdened, but I am making it clear that my party is only recognised in Bihar. I have nothing to do with other state units."

Sharad Yadav's fall out comes as the outcome of Nitish Kumar's decision to end his coalition with the RJD and Congress by resigning from the post of Chief Minister just to join forces with the BJP and swear in as the Chief Minister of a BJP-JD(U) government in Bihar on the very next day.

Keeping quiet of his disagreement with the JD(U) Chief at first, Sharad Yadav has come out with his opinion on the matter in public now. He started attacking the Bihar Chief Minister saying, "The Mandate was for the Mahagathbandhan against a BJP-led alliance. Now, swapping alliance partners is cheating the 11 crore people of the state."
