Sankalp Rally Patna: ‘Will Win All 40 Seats In Bihar,’ Nitish Kumar Assures PM Narendra Modi

Ahead of Lok Sabha elections 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday visited Patna to address the Sankalp rally. It was also the first joint rally by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar since 2009.

This is PM Modi’s second visit to the state within a fortnight, the first being on February 17 in Begusarai, from where he inaugurated and launched projects.

Addressing the rally Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar assured PM Narendra Modi that BJP together with BJP will get the full majority. He said, “We will win all 40 seats.”

“With PM Narendra Modi at Centre, I am sure that the government will always take effective steps to counter terrorism,” Bihar CM Nitish Kumar added.

Nitish Kumar on JD(U)-BJP ties up said, “Our alliance is for the purpose of ensuring development in the state of Bihar."

PM Modi also addressed Sankalp rally at Bihar, he said, "Because of NDA govt both at the Centre and in Bihar, the development work in Bihar has picked up a fast pace. Development of infrastructure is our priority."

PM Modi also took a dig at opposition, he said, “People of Bihar are very much aware of what all happened in the name of fodder. Only we have dared to end the culture of corruption and middlemen which had been normalised in the country for decades.”

The Prime Minister further said, “The Opposition let our soldiers down in the hour of need by questioning and seeking proof of IAF air strike on Jaish camps in Pakistan."

”Opposition tries to bring down Modi, while I insist on joining hands in countering terrorism and bringing an end to it,” he added.

Speaking about the Balakot Airstrike PM Modi said, "Now they have even started asking for proof of the AirStrike. Why are Congress and its allies demoralizing our forces? Why are they giving statements which are benefiting our enemies?"

"I salute the martyrs of Pulwama, the whole nation is standing with the families of the jawans," he added.
