In Rajasthan, a woman has left her husband’s house after her in-laws failed to construct a toilet. The woman repeatedly requested her husband and in-laws to get a toilet constructed, but they kept on ignoring her demand for the same.
Bhilwara-based Bhateri filed for divorce in the family court after her repeated demand to construct a toilet was ignored by her in-laws and husband.
Bhateri said that she felt embarrassed to defecate in the open and will not go back until her in-laws construct a toilet in the house. The sources say that Bhateri is now staying with her father, and is getting full support from him for her decision.
This is really appreciating that Bhateri took a big decision for a good cause. This real-life story of Bhateri reminds us of the recently released film, ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’. In the film, the lead actress too leaves her husband after making several requests for having a toilet at home.
