As Ramleela Restarts In Ayodhya, Yogi Seeks To Peacefully Resolve Ram Mandir Issue

The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, on Wednesday during his second visit to Ayodhya since taking the position, called to peacefully resolve the Ram Mandir issue.

In a statement, CM Yogi said that all the stakeholders must follow that Supreme Court’s decision on the issue and find a friendly and peaceful manner for resolving the matter.

The Chief Minister further talked about the issue and said that Ramleela is well-known in India and the entire country watches it every year with great devotion. He said people from every religion have respect for Lord Ram.

Citing Indonesia as an example of unity, Yogi said, “Indonesia has the largest Muslim population in the world and ‘Ramleela’ is their national festival.”

Meanwhile, ‘Ramleela’ show restarted on Wednesday, 17 months after it was abruptly stopped by former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav. The show made a comeback at the Ayodhya Research Centre with Prithvi Pukar Narad Moh.

The assistant manager of the Ayodhya Research Centre, Ram Teerath said, “Today we started the first show of Ram Leela, and now we hope that the shows will run continuously without any hurdles. We have received all official orders from the culture department.”

As the Chief Minister continues his visit to the holy city, he is expected to meet several religious heads in the city.
