Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday slammed the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) led government in Chhattisgarh over the alleged corruption charges against the Chief Minister Raman Singh.
Gandhi said, “Modi Ji says he's fighting against corruption. But when he comes to Chhattisgarh he doesn't tell you the Chief Minister is corrupt. Your Rs 5,000 crore disappeared in chit-fund scam, 310 FIRs were registered but no action was taken because Chief Minister was involved. 2nd is the PDS Scam. Rs 36,000 crore of the people of Chhattisgarh was looted.”

"If the CM doesn't want to answer that then he should explain to the people of Chhattisgarh why is no action taken against his son, whose name appeared in Panama papers? In Pakistan, the PM is jailed because his name appeared in Panama papers," Gandhi added.
Addressing a mass gathering and a road show, Gandhi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi over alleged scam in the Rafale fighter jet deal with France and for the demonetisation in November 2016.
Gandhi also said that the BJP has failed to fulfill their poll promises.
