In another ceasefire violation by Pakistan along the international border in R S Pura, Arnia and Ramgarh sectors of Jammu & Kashmir, two civilians lost their lives whereas nine were injured. The unprovoked mortar shelling by Pakistani Rangers started restarted at around 6.45 am on Friday.

Sources suggest that the deceased Bachno Devi and Sunil Kumar alias Johny were residents of Sai Khurd and Korotana in RS Pura sector respectively. While the Border Security Force personnel were retaliating the attack strongly, the injured were immediately rushed to the hospital.

The sources suggest that the Pak Rangers were also targeting civilian areas apart from Border Out Posts (BOPs) which caused panic among the villagers settled near the International border. Indian troops are not holding back in retaliating the attack after Wednesday.

Many political leaders have expressed their concern over the rising terror attacks and ceasefire violation by Pakistan. While the former Jammu & Kashmir CM, Omar Abdullah wished for both the countries to talk out their differences and spare the civilians, state's Deputy CM seems enraged with the act of cowardice.

Notably, Pak Rangers had initiated another unprovoked ceasefire violation on Wednesday along the border on different location killing a BSF constable along with a teenage girl and injuring three members of a family. Post receiving the approval of BSF Director General K K Sharma, Indian troops destroyed two Pakistani mortar positions.

The security personnel didn't hold back of inflicting life and property loss across the border. Sources suggest that Pakistan lost over 17 lives including an unspecified number of rangers. Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), however, accused Indian forces of initiating unprovoked firing targeting Pakistan's civilian population.
