Nitish Kumar, who became the Chief Minister of Bihar for the 6th time on Thursday morning after suddenly resigning from the same post on Wednesday evening said that his decision to join hands with the BJP was in the best interest of the state.
CM Nitish Kumar ended the Grand Alliance with RJD and Congress and entered into a new alliance with BJP and its supporters with his resignation, which he claims he submitted due to the prevailing 'environment' referring to the corruption charges against Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav, son of Lalu Prasad Yadav.
RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav alleged that Nitish Kumar has stabbed on the back of the people of Bihar and resigned as Chief Minister of the Grand Alliance not because of corruption allegations against Tejashwi Yadav but due to a murder case against himself.
Responding to the comments made by Lalu, CM Nitish said that he will give a befitting reply to the allegations made by Lalu at an opportune time.
"Will give befitting answers," Nitish Kumar said to media when asked about his response to Lalu's allegations.
