Attacking the Prime Minister for doing nothing on self-proclaimed cow protectors, the Shiv Sena has accused him of surrendering to the ‘gaurakhshaks’ by not doing anything about the recent cases of lynching.

The Shiv Sena, in their mouthpiece Saamana, said that these gaurakshaks are “taking the law into their hands from Delhi to Nagpur but the law implementation machinery has been a mute spectator” questioning as far as whether this is part of a big conspiracy.

The editor said, “It seems like Modi has surrendered before gaurakshaks. It is appalling that the gaurakshaks take law in their hands and beat up a person.”

Questioning why the cow protectors haven’t taken action against any of the BJP members who have consumed as proclaimed their love for it, the editor said, “There are many states where beef isn't banned. Beef is a part of food there, and even the members of BJP government in those states have proclaimed their love for beef. Will the gaurakshaks go and beat them?”

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut, talking to a media outlet said, “Those who are beating people are not gaurakshaks….. It’s basically Pakistan which wants Hindus and Muslims to fight in India. They want to divert attention from the ceasefire violations and terrorism.”

The Sena mouthpiece also raised questions such as “Where are these gaurakshaks when the security conditions in the country are bad?” and “Why they don't face bullets Kashmir?”

This editorial in Shiv Sena’s mouthpiece comes days after the Prime Minister criticised the lynching in an all party meeting on Monday.
