While the country gawks the development in Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, let's take a look at the special CBI judge who will make the landmarking decision which will decide the fate of the god man and the two states.

Justice Jagdeep Singh is the special CBI judge who will be delivering his verdict in the 2002 rape case against the self-styled spiritual leader and 'Dera Sacha Sauda' chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.

While this is a high profile case, it's nothing new for the CBI court justice to work under pressure. He has practiced as both civil and criminal lawyer in the Punjab and Haryana Court.

He was also part of the news himself back in September last year when he saved the lives of four people who were severely in a road accident.

According to media reports, he was on his way to his native village when he saw the injured on the road. He immediately called the ambulance but when the vehicle didn't arrive soon. He took it to himself to aid the victims of the car crash.

He ensured the safety of the injured and sent them to the hospital in his private car.

Singh hails from a small village Jind in Haryana. A 2002 law graduate from Punjab, he was designated as the special judge of CBI court in 2016 as his second posting in the judiciary commission.

All eyes are on the Justice now as his verdict can dictate whether the spiritual leader Ram Rahim would go to jail or free as well as the situation of the crowd in the two states who have gathered on the roads in order to support the Dera chief.
