While the entire nation is condemning the brutal rape and murder of an eight-year-old named Asifa in Kathua and are demanding justice for the departed soul, two shocking dismissals for opposite reasons associated with the case have surfaced recently.

The first one is related to a Kotak Mahindra Bank's employee, whose crass comments on the Kathua rape case victim left him jobless. Vishnu Nandukumar was working as the bank's assistant manager in Kochi and used social media to express his thoughts over the Kathua gangrape.

Unfortunately for him, his offending comments about the eight-year-old victim didn't sit well with other platform users. Expressing his delight over the murder of the little girl, he has posted, "It’s good that she has been killed. Otherwise, tomorrow, she might turn against India as a human bomb."

His "personal" comment, however, invited massive outrage on social media as hundreds of people started demanding his termination from the workplace. Many went to the extent of tagging the bank and writing letters asking for his sacking.

Earlier on Friday, the Bank confirmed, "We have terminated Vishnu Nandakumar from the services of the bank on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, for poor performance. It is extremely disheartening to see such comments being made in the aftermath of such tragedy by anyone including an ex-employee. We strongly condemn this statement."

Meanwhile, a Law student from Coimbatore was suspended for a completely different reason. A Government Law College in Tamil Nadu has suspended a first-year female student on Saturday for allegedly attempting to create a 'communal divide' by her remarks over Kathua rape case.

A few students complaint about R Priya trying to persuade them to speak against the government and boycott the classes over the rape incidents, confirmed the release from the college principal K Gopalakrishnan. It added that she was trying to create a communal divide among the students.

Priya has been suspended on the apprehension that her acts would lead to caste, religious and communal clashes. She is not allowed to enter the college premises without the permission of the Principal. The Assistant Professor deputed to inquire into the student's complaint couldn't carry out his work.

While the college authorities have alleged that "She was suspended after she misbehaved with faculty & tried instigating other students," Priya affirms, "I was suspended after I spoke about Kathua rape incident during a group discussion in class."

The infamous Kathua Rape Case involving the inhumane rape of Asifa by multiple men inside the Devasthan prayer hall before she was strangled to death to allegedly "dislodge" a group of Bakherwal Muslim nomads from the Rasana village in Kathua has shaken the country.
