Bihar: JD(U) President Suspends 21 Party Members For Anti-Party Activities

As clash between Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and former JD(U) National President Sharad Yadav heats up, the party President of state, Vashishtha Narayan Singh has suspended 21 party members from their primary membership over anti-party activities.

Janata Dal United's Bihar unit, on Monday, issues a notice announcing that the party is suspending 21 of its members from the party's primary membership for involvement in anti-party activities.

The 21 member included senior leaders such as Ramai Ram and Arjun Rai, not to mention they had also accompanied the rebellious Sharad Yadav in his rallies and gave statements against the party.

News Agency ANI tweeted, "#Bihar JDU state president Vashistha Narayan Singh suspended 21 party members from their primary memberships over anti-party activities" along with the list of suspended JD(U) members.

Earlier, the party had sacked the senior leader Ali Anwar for attended opposition's party meeting organised by Congress National President Sonia Gandhi and removed former party president Sharad Yadav as party's leader in the Rajya Sabha.
