Hema Malini With UP CM Yogi, Offers Prayers At A Temple Before Filing Nomination Papers

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Lok Sabha candidate from Mathura Hema Malini offered prayers at Banke Bihari Temple on Monday.

The leaders visited the temple before Malini filed her nominations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

CM Adityanath and Hema Malini actress were seen praying as a priest performed rituals at the temple. Malini is contesting from the Mathura seat for the second time. She is a member of the parliament from Mathura and hence the party showed faith in her.

She will be facing Kunwar Narendra Singh (RLD) and Mahesh Pathak (Congress) in the Lok Sabha elections.

Last week, Hema Malini clarified that she would not be interested in shifting to any other constituency, as she was deeply attached to Mathura due to her devotion to Lord Krishna.

In 2014, Hema Malini had trounced Jayant Choudhary of the RLD.
