Confirmed! Prem Kumar Dhumal Is BJP's CM Candidate For Himachal Pradesh

In an official announcement, BJP national president Amit Shah has confirmed that Prem Kumar Dhumal is the party's chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming Himachal Pradesh elections. 

While making the announcement, Amit Shah confidently said that after December 18, PK Dhumal would be the next Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh.

Currently the Leader of Opposition in the state assembly, Prem Kumar Dhumal has been the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh twice in the past, from March 1998 to March 2003 and then again from January 1, 2008 to December 25, 2012.

While the polling for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly Elections 2017 will take place on November 9, the exit polls will reportedly be declared on December 14, after the two-phase Gujarat Assembly Elections also come to an end. The counting for both Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat will take place on December 18.
