After the CBI raided the residence RJD chief Lalu Yadav and his family members on Friday Morning, the CBI turned to raid the residence of former IRCTC (Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation) Managing Director P.K. Goyal.

The CBI conducted six-hour long search on Goyal’s DLF-1 area residence and then took him along with them for further questioning. According to sources, the CBI team conducting the raid took possession of some paper and a laptop.

Goyal while being escorted by the CBI team shouted out to the media saying, “I am innocent. I have done nothing wrong. It's a long time since I retired.”

Earlier on Friday, the CBI filed a corruption case against RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav and carried out multiple raids at his and his family members’ residences. Lalu Yadav is allegedly charged for irregularities in leasing of two railway hotels to a private company during his tenure as the Railway Minister.
