Yoga Guru and Patanjali owner Baba Ramdev has on Saturday urged the people of India to boycott Chinese products amid graving tension between the two countries amid Doklam stand-off off the Sikkim border.

Ramdev said, “China is openly supporting the terrorists of Pakistan. We need to give a befitting reply to Pakistan and for this firstly we have to merge Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) with India and secondly every Indian should boycott China made products whether it be mobile, watches, cars, or toys.”

Baba also asked the political parties to set aside their political rivalries and to come together on the border issue with China.

With tension rising between the two countries, the Indian traders are boycotting Chinese products and also asking the people to not purchase them as well.

Federation of All Odisha Traders’ Association (FAOTA), just recently asked the people to boycott Chinese products in order to avoid adding to Chinese funds that it will make through selling all the products in Indian market.

A standoff between Indian and Chinese troops is continuing along the border in Doklam in Sikkim sector close to the tri-junction of India, China and Bhutan, since June 16. The standoff started after Indian troops disrupted the construction of a Chinese road in the conflicted Bhutanese territory in the India-China-Bhutan tri-junction.
