A day after self-styled godman and Dera Sacha Sauda (DSS) Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was convicted in the 15-year-old rape case against him, army along with Rapid Action Force (RAF) and police has entered the premises into the DSS headquarter in Haryana's Sirsa.
The army, on Saturday, asked the Dera followers to vacate the premises as several buses station outside the headquarter to transport the protesters.
News Agency ANI reported, "Along with Army & Rapid Action Force, Police has also entered the premises of Dera Sacha Sauda HQ in Haryana's Sirsa."
Earlier, 31 people died while 250 were injured in the violence that took place on Friday after the CBI Court held spiritual leader Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh guilty who was taken into custody.
Section 144 has been imposed in districts of Punjab, Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad after the violence spread to the neighbouring states.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also condemned the violence after court's verdict tweeting, "The instances of violence today are deeply distressing. I strongly condemn the violence and urge everyone to maintain peace."
