A lot of people plan vacations abroad in holiday season every year but jet lag snatches half of their chances to actually enjoy it. Jet lag feeds on the confusion between your internal body clock and the local time after a long travel across countries.

Here are few tips to avoid jet lag for all the travelers planning to travel across more than two time zones:

Sleep Schedule

It is recommended to prepare one's body clock according to the local time of the place you are planning to visit. Changing sleeping pattern by few hours can help. Start before a few days of your travel by adding and deducting few hours from your sleep timings to minimize the chances of jet lag.

Be Organised

Packing all you need while traveling a day in advance provides the traveler an opportunity to have a good night's sleep before departure for the holiday. It helps in relaxation of mind and anxiety.

Watch Adjustments

After boarding the plane, set your watch to the local time of your destination, it will mentally prepare you for the time difference.
