A call was received around 2 PM about a fire breaking out in slums located near F-Block, JJ Colony in Bawana, a senior officer of Delhi Fire Services said. People lost their temper while the firemen were at work and pelted stones injuring five firemen, who were trying to pacify the mob. Two vehicles were damaged in the incident, the officer said. People went into panic mode seeing the blaze and were forcing the firemen to save their shanty before others," he said. The fire was doused by 4.50 PM. The injured firemen were discharged after first-aid, the officer said.
