ALSO READ: Mayawati Names Brother Anand Kumar BSP VP On Condition He Will Never Fight Elections Formerly the party in-charge for Uttar Pradesh, Siddiqui was removed from the post and appointed as the party in-charge for Madhya Pradesh during a major organisational rejig announced by BSP chief Mayawati in April 2017. The BSP fared badly in the recent assembly elections in UP and Uttarakhand, however Mayawati pinned the reason for the poor performance onto EVM tampering.
