The Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) has questioned the jurisdiction of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) in issuing directions to banks under the Aadhaar Act, according to news reports.

After Central Information Commission (CIC) had on Friday directed the Gujarat and the Delhi Universities to make Modi’s educational credentials public, records dug out by an English tabloid has revealed that PM Narendera Modi was an above average student and scored 62.3% in MA-Political Science.
"According to the information available with Gujarat University, Modi was an external student and completed his masters in political science with a score of 62.3% in 1983," reported Ahmedabad Mirror.
The row over PM Modi's educational qualifications erupted after delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal sought details of his educational qualifications from the Information Commissioner.
In a letter to Information Commissioner M Sridhar Acharyulu, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said he does not object to government records about him being made public and wondered why the Commission wants to 'hide information on Modi's educational degree'.
