The Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) has questioned the jurisdiction of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) in issuing directions to banks under the Aadhaar Act, according to news reports.

Haryana INLD chief Ashok Arora on Friday termed June 11 as a ‘Black Day’ in the history of India and urged the Election Commission to cancel the Haryana Rajya Sabha polls on urgent basis.
While talking exclusively to News World India, Arora said, “June 11, the day on which Haryana RS polls held, was the black day in India’s history.”
“There must be some conspiracy behind it and I urge the Election Commission to cancel the polls immediately and take stern action on the defaulters,” Arora added.

BJP-backed independent candidate and media baron Subhash Chandra was recently elected to the Rajya Sabha from Haryana, after 14 Congress votes were declared invalid.
