Furore Over Currency Ban Throws Off Parliament Winter Session Schedule[/caption]
The Winter Session of Parliament began on Wednesday with Lok Sabha respecting obituaries and Rajya Sabha discussing the demonetisation issue sans Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
However, Day 2 of Parliament has started off with an erratic schedule as protests against demonetisation create an uproar disrupting Parliament proceedings and resulting in adjournments.

Rajya Sabha has been adjourned multiple times on Thursday due to uproar in the house over the demonetisation issue, with the first adjournment to 11:30 AM, followed by delay to 12:00 PM, then 12:30 PM and then till 2:00 PM.
Lok Sabha, on the other hand has been adjourned only twice, first adjournment till 12:30 PM after uproar over demonetisation issue, and finally adjournment till Friday.
