The teenager who was allegedly behind the wheels of a Mercedes that killed marketing executive Sidharth Sharma in Delhi's Civil Lines on April 4, turns 18 today.
Demanding justice, Sidharth's family wants the teen to be tried as an adult in the case.
The accident occurred while the teen was on a joy ride with friends.
He was arrested by the police the very next day; however, was later let off on bail because he was below 18.
Juvenile Justice Board will decide whether he will go to a juvenile home or he will be tried as an adult, however the maximum imprisonment for the crime is two years.
Now, it's up to Juvenile Justice Board to decide whether the accused will be tried as a juvenile or an adult.
