In a shocking incident, a 20-year-old college student has been raped for second time by the same five men, who had raped her earlier in 2013, and left her to die in bushes in Rohtak.
Dalit girl, who is pursuing a master's degree from Rohtak's MD University, was kidnapped by the men when she stepped out of her college, pushed into a car, drugged and raped while she was unconscious.
They then dumped her body near the bushes. Passers-by discovered and took her to the Rohtak Civil Hospital.
According to the survivor's family, the men, who are all in their twenties and out on bail, wanted them to settle the case and were punishing the woman for pursuing it in court.
“We moved to Rohtak after the incident three years ago, the five men, were threatening us to negotiate a settlement worth Rs. 50 lakhs,” survivor's family said.
The five men have been identified as Anil alias Bittu, Raju alias Jagmohan, Sandeep Singh, Mausam Kumar and Aakash. They were booked after a complaint was lodged with the police by the girl.
However, no person has been arrested yet.
