The Prime Minister of India is on a busy schedule on his second day in the Jewish country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to Israel on an ambitious three-day trip this Tuesday.

After a warm welcome and friendly hug from the Israeli Prime Minister on his arrival, PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday is set to meet the President of Israel Reuven Rivlin and an Israeli infant Moshe Holtzberg who survived the 26/11 terrorist attack in Mumbai.

Moshe Holtzberg lost both his parents, Rivka and Gavriel Holtzberg to the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attack. Both her parents were killed in the Nariman House, along with 6 others by the LeT terrorists during the 26/11 incident.

He was saved by his Indian Nanny Sandra who was later awarded an honorary citizenship of Israel so he could live with Moshe.

Apart from his meeting with Moshe, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to attend a meeting with the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to facilitate India’s ‘Make in India’ with Israel’s ‘Make with India’ policy.

This is the first of its kind visit by the Indian Prime Minister to Israel, making it a historical event in the India-Israel relationship. The Prime Minister is later scheduled to leave for the G20 Summit on July 7 and 8.
