The story behind Kathua Rape Case is no more confined to the geographical boundaries of India and has reached overseas. After garnering support from global diplomats, the courageous lawyer fighting to get justice of the 8-year-old rape victim has received support from Emma Watson.

'Harry Potter' actress and United Nations Women Goodwill Ambassador on Friday showcased her support for Deepika Singh Rajawat by tweeting a viral story on the lawyer with the comment, "All power to Deepika Singh Rajawat," and added a fist emoji.

Emma's fist of approval for advocate Rajawat's case proves that no matter the amount of criticism Deepika garners for representing the minor girl's family who was brutally raped and murdered in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district, people are there to support the truth.

As the UN Goodwill Ambassador, Emma has actively contributed towards women empowerment. Following Emma's tweet, several users claimed that Deepika has been planning a vendetta through the Kathua case whereas others thanked her for lending her support.

Rajawat has accused her fellow lawyers at the Jammu Bar Association of warning her against taking up the case and the accused men's families of sending her death threats. Earlier, the Supreme Court had ordered adequate security for Deepika, rape victim's family and their helpers.

The infamous Kathua Rape Case involving the inhumane rape of the 8-year-old by multiple men inside the Devasthan prayer hall before she was strangled to death to allegedly "dislodge" a group of Bakherwal Muslim nomads from the Rasana village in Kathua has shaken the entire country.
