New US President Donald Trump announced a crackdown on the number of H-1B visas since he joined office, nevertheless, hopeful Indians continue to be the largest group of H-1B visa aspirants during the first nine months of the current US Financial year which is marked from October 1 to September 30.

So far, 2.47 lakh applications have been made by Indian aspirants, working out to nearly 74 percent of the total number of applications sent to the US between October 1, 2016, and June 30, 2017. In comparison, during the 2015-2016 financial year, Indians had filed around 3 lakh H-1B visa applications.

Although the number of Chinese H1-B aspirants is much lower in comparison to India, with a total of 36,362 visa applications, the number still marks their highest ever in the past 10 financial years.

According to the US Citizenship and Immigration Services, as of June 30, the US has received a total of 3.36 lakh applications for the H-1B visa out of which 1.97 lakh have been approved. Other applications are pending approval.

US senators have pointed out that since there are maximum numbers of Indians applying for the H-1B visa, correspondingly, Indians stand to benefit in terms of the number of visas granted.

The majority of H-1B visas applications are made by the technology sector, with the top 5 firms to which visas were granted including Cognizant (US Corp), Infosys, TCS, Accenture, and Wipro.

The average salaries of these firms were well below the minimum salary for H-1B visa holders of $130,000 that was proposed in a reform bill.

Nothing to worry, my fellow bros/sis.....we in India have full power over how we fix our Xrate. Any more noise from US political scene, simply update the Xrate to 1 USD = Re 100.00 and watch the tamaasha....more and more American jobs will automatically flow to India in fact FLOOD towards India! And when it comes to policy/ethics, American companies listen more to Indian Govt and dont care for their own Govt or their own people, and US Govt cannot manipulate their USD$ Xrate, while we can and always rig and fix our Re Xrate when we want to increase job flow into India :-). And we have powerful lobbies and fund our NASSCOM very well, have no fear, we know who to bribe and every Democrat in USA is pro India and Anti American and are easily bribed we have all the Demoractic party in our pockets fully funded by our India lobby! Americans have no organized movement at all to help their own people, they always loose when it comes to trade and jobs, India always beats them, dont listen to media hysteria, our victory over taking all American jobs is assured and has always been assured as long as we refuse to let Re free float in the international currency markets.
