The release of 'Avengers: Infinity War' has brought along another decade of success for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, having already earned a billion dollars. Like their onscreen idiosyncratic personalities, the original Avengers celebrated the film's success and their friendship in the unique way possible.

While many characters have entered the much-loved fantasy series, the original cast of six has bonded over the years to the point of calling themselves close friends. Having received the overwhelming response to their latest release, they decided to celebrate their friendship by getting matching tattoos.

Crazy right? Not really, at least not for Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner and Chris Evans who have permanently etched Avengers-themed tattoos on their arms along with their tattoo artist, serving as the 6th member to compensate for Mark Ruffalo who opted out.

Talking to Entertainment Weekly, Downey confirmed, "Five of the original six Avengers got a tattoo. And the sixth was the tattoo artist, who gave it to five of us, the one who opted out being Mark Ruffalo. It was (Scarlett) Johansson's idea, and she and (Chris) Evans did it in New York."

Talking about their "amazing" tattoo artist, he added, "Then, their New York guy, Josh Lord, who is amazing, flew out to L.A., he did me, did (Jeremy) Renner, and then we just bullied (Chris) Hemsworth into doing it, and he got it."

The impressive act of getting tattoos for team unity came at the point when the fate of their stay in the series is uncertain. Evans has openly expressed that he wants Avengers 4 to be his last one in the series and Downey's contract is also ending with the next instalment. Nonetheless, the gesture won over the Netizens.
