South Star Ram Charan Turns 34 Today, Gets Birthday Gift From 'RRR' Makers

Tollywood superstar Ram Charan, son of Chiranjeevi celebrated his birthday on Wednesday and it is more than a festival for fans of the mega family.

Even before the clock struck 12, fans of the superstar started pouring wishes on social media making #HBDRamCharan trend on Twitter. From calling him the biggest mass hero of this generation to sharing some of his memorable looks from various films, Ram Charan’s birthday on social media.

Although he is just twelve films old, Charan is one of the top stars in Tollywood and is placed in the elite club with the likes of Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR and Allu Arjun. He was loved for his debut movie. But it was his acting skills in the Rajamouli film ‘Magadheera’ that turned him into an overnight star.

The actor is currently working with Baahubali filmmaker SS Rajamouli for an upcoming movie RRR. On the occasion of Ram Charan’s birthday, the makers of RRR released birthday poster and captioned it, “Wishing our Young and Dynamic Seetha Rama Raju, a very Happy Birthday! We wish you a year as energetic and zestful as you!

#HBDRamCharan.”

Ram Charan is essaying the role of the younger version of Alluri Seetharama Raju in the movie. The movie narrates the stories of two great warriors of Telugu land Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem (being played by NTR Jr).

However, ‘RRR’ will not tell the entire life stories of Alluri and Komaram but will tell a fictional tale about their younger days. The characters are real, but the tale is fiction. The movie unveils both of them from their home in Delhi before they begin fighting for the country.

The movie is bankrolled by DVV Danayya under his home banner DVV Entertainment and also features Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn in pivotal roles. It is produced at a budget of Rs 200 crore, which is Ram Charan’s most expensive project to date.
