Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor has never refrained from sharing the rebellious thoughts in her usual witty style. However, her latest statement is more of a result of the bizarre theories of godmen towards homosexuality.

Enraged with the answer given by the spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to a student at an event held at the Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi concerning his sexual preferences, Sonam Kapoor slammed the Humanitarian for believing that homosexuality is a tendency that may change later.

While seeking an advice from Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a student asked how he should handle the way his friends and family treated him for his sexual orientation. Answering him, the spiritual leader said, "You don't think you are sick or something is wrong with you. If you stand up, nobody can insult you, but...if you feel bad about yourself, nobody can make you feel better."

He continued, "This is your tendency now...know that this tendency is not a permanent thing. It may change. I've seen many men who were gay later turn into heterosexuals, and there are those who are normal, who are called straight people, end up being gay later in life."

His ludicrous comments baffled the 'Neerja' actress to the core, who later took her disapproval to social media and bashed the godman and didn't abstain from calling him "Moron" in one of her now-deleted Instagram posts. She further went to slam the founder of Art of Living Foundation through a series of tweets.

Sonam has openly supported the LGBT community from the beginning of her career believes that "It’s a basic human right." Supporting her good friend, Alia Bhatt responded to Sonam tweet with, "OMG kinda moment!" comment.
