According to a report in the Economic Times, Aamir's one-year contract for Snapdeal ends this month. ET quoted a source saying, the company is in no mood to renew the contract further. And soon after the controversy hashtags like #Appwapsi and #SayNoToSnapDeal were trending, which downgraded the online retailer in Google Playstore. "Snapdeal is neither connected nor plays a role in comments made by Aamir Khan in his personal capacity. Snapdeal is a proud Indian company built by passionate young Indians focused on building an inclusive digital India," Snapdeal said in a statement. Also, Khan was recently dropped as the mascot of 'Incredible India' campaign. He was replaced by Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra.
