The most-anticipated biopic based on the life of Bollywood's "Khalnayak" Sanjay Dutt has finally found a release date. The eager fans were waiting with bated breaths for the final date to watch the interesting journey of Sanju Baba unfold on screens.

Well, they can now breathe a sigh of relief and the renowned trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh announced on Twitter that the Dutt Biopic will hit the theatres on June 29, 2018. The biopic is presented by the celebrated pair of Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Raj Kumar Hirani.

Hirani directorial will cover the various aspects of Sanjay's life, from his wavy acting career, playboy image, love-life and illegal ownership of arms. Ranbir Kapoor has gone through the hardcore workout and complete transformation to represent the actor on screen.

Coming from a filmy background with parents like Guru Dutt and Nargis, Sanjay has hardly faced a struggle for finding work but his struggle-free life has only landed him in trouble many times. The 58-year-old actor has undoubtedly been controversy's favourite child.

The film's official title is yet to announced but many media reports suggest that the Dutt Biopic might be called 'Sanju'. Manisha Koirala will also be seen in the film as Sanjay's mother Nargis- the legendary diva who still have millions of loyal fans in the country.

Unlike most living legends, Sanjay was open with the idea of his biopic and has earlier said, "I was not sceptical at all. Raju, Abhijat and I sat for many, many hours and I laid the cards right out in front of them. I have nothing to hide. I’ve never had nothing to hide either."

The film also stars Paresh Rawal as Sanjay's father Sunil Dutt, Anushka Sharma as a journalist, Vicky Kaushal as Dutt's friend while Sonam Kapoor will play the role of the actor's ex-girlfriend Tina Munim (now Ambani).
