Most actors would refrain from using abusive words onscreen to keep their dapper image intact but that's where the powerhouse performer Ranveer Singh is different. The 'Padmaavat' actor apparently dubbed for the Hindi version of Ryan Reynolds-starrer Deadpool 2 due to a bizarre reason.

Staying in sync with the quirky and somewhat abusive Marvel character, Ranveer had used some filthy violent words along with the hilarious one-liners in the dubbed version for appropriately representing the Merc with a Mouth personality of Deadpool, something which tempted the actor most.

Talking to Indian Express, Ranveer said, "I thought it would be fun to use foul Hindi language onscreen, to be honest. I just wanted to give gaalis onscreen. That's the long and short of it." Also, the actor now harbours a "newfound respect for dubbing artistes and voice-over artistes."

In his 8-year long acting career during which he has garnered a massive fan following, Ranveer Singh has never dubbed for any film before and the Deadpool 2 experience and taught him much more than anyone anticipated. Add in his fondness for the character and superhero subject in general.

Reasoning why he agreed to be the voice of "desi" Deadpool, the actor added, "I thought it would be something new for me to do. A novel challenge. Something I have not attempted before, to lend my voice for the Hindi version of what I find to be a really, really cool film."

Released in 2016, Deadpool had received immense love from across the world and 'Deadpool 2' has also created a massive buzz around the globe. Helmed by David Leitch, the film has opened with a great response on box-office and is anticipating to do business worth millions in coming days.
